Zooka has created two different award winning package designs for Eye-Fi including a clam shell design as well as a “slim box” design.
To create the ideal packaging, we met with executives from Eye-Fi to understand their communication goals. Together we created several different concepts and then, with the support of Best Buy, tested the concepts with real customers in the store.
Zooka’s creative team designed a package where the card can ship in the reader, and where a second photorealistic printed paper card would be visible to consumers. The resulting design increased sales and drew praise from all of Eye-Fi’s key retailers including Best Buy and the Apple Store.
Zooka’s superior combination of structural and graphic design received the “Best Package Design” from the American Advertising Federation, a Gold Award from the Visual Media Alliance, and a Gold Award from the NALC Impression Awards, and a “Design of the Times” Award from Shopper Marketing Magazine.
